BLACKNEST GATE ENTRANCE - Dressage, Show Jumping & Spectators

The entrance to Smiths Lawn,
Windsor Great Park, for for Show Jumping & Dressage Members, Spectators
& Non-Competing Members is through BLACKNEST GATE, Ascot.

From the M4:
|
Exit at Junction 6, Slough/Windsor and follow the signs to Windsor, along the A355 dual carriageway to the end.
At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit B3173 Imperial Road sign posted to Ascot, Winkfield and with an AA/RAC sign to Lego Land. Continue along to the end of Imperial Road to the traffic lights. Turn right onto the B3022 Winkfield Road past Lego Land up Mounts Hill and onto a peanut shaped roundabout, Fernhill Roundabout.
Take the 2nd exit, Mounts Hill sign posted B383 Sunninghill Road.
Part of the Great Park is now on your left hand side. Follow the road up the hill, the road turns into Buckhurst Road until a left hand turn into Mill Lane. At the end of Mill Lane Blacknest Gate can be found on your left hand side. Mill Lane is fairly narrow and often has cars parked on the verge. If you prefer, continue up Buckhurst Road until you reach a staggered cross roads, turn left onto the A329 London Road, follow this road down a small hill until the Seven Stars Public house can be seen on the corner of Mill Lane. Turn left here and Blacknest Gate will be in front of you.
Once inside the park continue straight on up the hill until you see the horse box park on the left hand side opposite the polo lawns of the Guards Polo Club.

From the M25:
|
Exit at Junction 13, Staines. Once off the motorway take the
2nd exit off the first roundabout heading towards Egham on
the A30. Continue along the A30 through Virginia Water and
turn right opposite Wentworth Golf Club onto the A329,
Buckhurst Road. Turn right into Mill Lane and Blacknest Gate
will be found in front of you.
Once inside the park continue straight on up the hill until
you see the horse box park on the left hand side opposite
the polo lawns of the Guards Polo Club.

BISHOPS GATE - Driving only
|
|
The entrance to the Driving Competitions, Windsor Great Park,
is through BISHOPS GATE, Englefield Green.

From the M4:
|
Exit at Junction 6, Slough/Windsor and follow the signs to Windsor, along the A355 dual carriageway to the end.
At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit, Goslar Way, sign posted to Old Windsor. Continue along to the end of Goslar Way to another roundabout, continue over this and the following roundabout. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit A308 sign posted to Old Windsor. The Long Walk and Windsor Castle will be on your left and the Copper Horse and rest of the Long walk will be to your right. Carry on down the A308 until you reach the end and bear round to the right continuing on the A308. Follow the river until you come of a mini roundabout, turn right up Priests Hill. At the top of the Hill turn right and right again at the end of this short lane. This takes you on to the B3021. At the end of this road is the Bishopsgate entrance.
Once inside the park, bear round to the left until you see the horse boxes on your left hand side.

Come off at Junction 13, Staines. At the top turn right and right again onto the B3021. Bishopsgate entrance will be directly in front of you.
