DRESSAGE SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is kindly sponsored by NORTON & NEWBY, Old Beaconsfield. Details
can be obtained from the Dressage Secretary. Scholarship winners must take their
lessons within six months of receiving the award.

UNAFFILIATED DRESSAGE CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER SERIES
The “Romeo “ Unaffiliated Preliminary and Novice Championships
Classes are open to any horse/pony but qualification for the Romeo Championship is
restricted to unaffiliated combinations of horse/pony and rider. Neither horse or rider
can be registered with British Dressage or British Eventing at the time of the Championship.
Fabulous prizes provided by Ripley Horse & Rider, include £50 cash to winner, trophy, sash,
magnificent rosettes and many additional prizes. Classes marked “R” in the schedule are
qualifiers for the “Romeo” Championships, to be held at Great Bookham Equestrian
Centre on 28 September 2008. Riders placed 1st - 3rd will qualify.
The “Southern England Unaffiliated Dressage Championships” -
Preliminary horses must have less than 20 BD points on the day of the Championship.
Riders in Group 1 - 6 only to compete in Elementary Championship. Classes marked “O” in
the schedule are qualifiers for the Southern England Unaffiliated Dressage Championships,
to be held at Oldencraig on 10th May 2008. Qualifying classes held after 1st May are
qualifiers for 2009.
The “South East Region Unaffiliated Championships” -
Preliminary horses must have less than 20 BD points. Riders in Groups 1 - 5 only to
compete in Elementary Championship. Classes marked “H” in the schedule are qualifiers
for the South East Region Unaffiliated Championships, to be held at Hickstead on 31 May
and 1 June 2008. Riders placed 1st or 2nd will qualify. Qualifying classes held after 1 June
are qualifiers for 2009.
